This opportunity is located in Neptune City, NJ

Solar Service Technician responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot/Diagnose solar related issues
• Identify and understand multiple PV solar systems
• Identify and troubleshoot variety of Solar PV inverters
• Remedy Solar inverter issues
• Repair and replace solar modules, inverters and meters
• Understand and execute one line drawings
• Stock work vehicle for service projects
• Understand PV monitoring systems
• Understand and utilize troubleshooting tools (Megger, IV-Curve Tracer, Volt meter)
• Identify installation deficiencies
• Remove and replace solar PV systems

Requirements:

• 2-5 years solar Installation/troubleshooting/service/electrical experience
• Possess proper electrical hand tools
• Carry 60 lbs
• Comprehend site plans and schematics
• Revise one line drawings
• Calculate system sizing
• Work at heights and on ladders
• Pride in workmanship
• Flexible and willing to learn
• Self driven
• Valid Drivers license in good standing
• Reliable transportation'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
