We are looking for bartenders to work in a restaurant space. Bartenders are expected to take drink and food orders, make cocktails and fill beverage orders for both the bar and the dining room, as well as be able to run and serve food at the aptitude of the service staff.

To be a bartender with us one must keep a clean space, work efficiently with a sense of urgency, work well with others as a team and also be able to work alone at times. We are expecting to be a high volume bar and will produce quality cocktails. You do not need to have experience in a craft cocktail bar but must be willing to learn a different way of bartending. One must be willing to study so as to be knowledge about about wine, beer, and spirits. We are looking for stellar attitudes who are ready to work hard and have fun while excelling everyday.

Bartender Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcome customers and hand out menus
• Inform customers about specials on offer
• Be able to speak about the food and beverage menu in detail
• Guide guests to choose food and beverages that they will enjoy
• Take down beverage and meal orders
• Place orders with POS system
• Prepare cocktails as well as pour wine and beer
• Serve prepared meals to customers
• Prepare the bill and process payments
• Clean and stock bar space and polish glassware
• Prepare garnishes and possibly juice and syrups for bar use

Bartender Requirements:

• Excellent coordination
• Ability to work long shifts
• Ability to remain calm during busy shifts
• Basic mathematic skills
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team or alone, also must know when to ask for help
• Prior experience as a bartender or server
• Must be knowledgeable about cocktails, wine, beer and spirits and be willing to learn more about all of the above
• Must strive for excellence, consistency, cleanliness, and do things with intention
• Must have a welcoming personality and be comfortable speaking to guests for extended amounts of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
