We do this by welcoming each guest into the café or through the walk-up window, engaging with them, preparing beverages and food according to recipe, and thanking our guests. About the Position

A successful Paisley Loon BAKER continuously focused on improvement and never settles for less. You are responsible for doing your part to ensure our guests have the best possible experience. Passing the probationary period is largely contingent on your ability to consistently deliver the best experience for each guest.

Baker Responsibilities

  • Consistent performance & attendance
  • Following recipes , developing your own recipes and workflows
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
  • Working quickly and multi-tasking
  • Preparing and serving food items according to standard
  • Maintaining adequate supplies
  • Creating new recipes and maintaining favorite selections

Additional Responsibilities

  • Routine cleaning throughout shift including workstations, smallwares and kitchen area
  • Basic preventative maintenance for equipment
  • Some bending and lifting
  • Additional duties as outlined by the Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • prior Baking experience a must
  • Experience in a job that required customer service skills
  • Experience in a job that required multi-tasking to be successful
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Starting at $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Full time and Part time up to 8 hour shift, possible Full time 11p- 7a- some flexibility
  • Weekend availability as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Baking Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Food Prep experience preferred

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift /early morning/weekends
