We are a mainly American/Asian shop that is changing people's expectations of the auto repair experience. We have up to date scanners from Snap On and Autel, newer Rotary lifts, and Hunter tire and alignment equipment. Each of our technicians is provided a metal bench, personal Surface Pro computer, and works in an environment that is air conditioned on hot summer days and is toasty warm in the winter.

Job Description

1. Diagnose and repair electrical, drivability and mechanical concerns on American and Asian cars and light trucks.

2. Perform courtesy / multi-point inspection on each vehicle as well as test drive before and after repairs.

3. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks.

4. Work with a team to provide customer service that blows people away!

5. Maintain a safe, clean working environment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.

Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.

5+ years of experience as an automotive technician. Diagnostic equipment experience is essential.

Ability to use computers and automotive software proficiently.

Able to communicate well with other team members.

Provide your own tools in a box that can be locked. The shop has specialty tools.

Ability to Flag 50-60 hours per week

Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer experience with American and/or Asian vehicles but other models are acceptable.

Current ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan / willingness to achieve while working in our business.

Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by any applicant in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Automotive Technician must:

Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.

Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.

Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.

Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools.

Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.

Drive manual transmission vehicles.

Keep a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
