Summary/Objective

A member of the Studer Family of Companies staff will spend the majority of time in an organization and environment that is recognized as one of the best in minor league baseball and in Pensacola events, widely recognized for its innovative, forward-thinking approach to event hosting. This position will support the events team in setup, execution and strike of public and private events held across the four Studer Family of Companies event venues in downtown Pensacola, with the majority of support happening at Blue Wahoos Stadium.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage in-stadium operations including cleaning, upkeep and general maintenance to ensure facility is in the best possible condition prior to and after events
  • Read and analyze event orders to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, and specific guest and set up/tear down needs
  • Set up tables, chairs and other needs ahead of events and strike after each event to return the ballpark to normal operations
  • Maintain the concourse, field and restrooms, stadium trash cans and general appearance before, during and after stadium events
  • Meet event client as they arrive to each event and conduct walk through of event space
  • Operate videoboard and sound board during events which include videos, photo slideshows and/or microphones
  • Manage all pre-event and post-event checklists
  • Document any issues from event and report them to supervisor within a 24-hour time frame
  • Lock and alarm stadium to fully secure after each event
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality and customer service experience but not required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Days and hours will vary.
