Purpose Statement

Performs metal preparation, laminating, registration, UV exposing, developing, chemical milling and finishing procedures, required for the fabrication of etched plaques.

Essential Functions

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Prepare metal plates for the etching process in prep for chemical machining of each plaque.
• Laminate, expose and develop metal material per the customer order
• Load material into the chemical milling and optimize machine utilization.
• Prepare the plaque by hand finishing, surface preparation for paint
• Finish plaque after painting by removing the paint off the surface and preparing for clear coat.
• Performs inspection before shipment to insure compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintains a complete and orderly file of all artwork used.
• Performs materials handling and maintains an organized and clean department.
• Completes and maintains records of materials, production levels, and job requirements.

Position Requirements

• High School Graduate /GED or equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant production experience preferred.
