Job Description: Estimator (Residential and/or Commercial)

As an Estimator with Specialty Restoration of Texas, a family-owned company for over 50 years, you will serve as the primary contact between the company and the client. You will work with property owners while providing technical information to insurance companies and/or adjusters through the inspection, and estimating structural and content related damages by identifying costs associated with remediation and restoration of residential and commercial properties.

In this fast-paced environment, daily tasks include communicating with your customer, inspection of jobs, writing estimates and sketching using Xactimate, working with Project Managers, subcontractors, homeowners, adjusters and agents(both in person and over the phone), revising estimates and providing supplements and change orders.

Salary and Commission: $80,000 +

Skills:

· Must be organized and proactive to daily schedule changes. Some days are busier than others and when they are, you’re willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

· Must pay attention to detail, have great time management and communication skills, and an overall desire to succeed.

Requirements:

· Ability to write estimates and sketch using Xactimate

· Knowledge of Construction Trades and Industry Standards

· Must be able to be on call when needed

· Drug Screen and background checks are required in accordance with local laws and regulations

· Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
