Job Description

Lux Global Label Company is seeking a hands-on, detailed-oriented, team player from the printing/packaging industry who is comfortable with numbers and capable of synthesizing a wide set of variables into an organized pricing strategy. The successful candidate must be capable of understanding our manufacturing process including its nuances and details.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for estimating, cost analysis, and new order processing.
• Will work closely with sales and operations to prepare cost estimates per job specifications and analyze actual manufacturing performance
• Collaborate with sales team and account managers to understand data relevant to each quote and ensure the quote requests reflect the customers’ expectations
• Work with product development and manufacturing to understand and set up optimal printing configuration to provide an accurate quote
• Ensure that all product specifications are set up in the company’s system
• Work with Estimating Manager to continually adapt to changes in production costs, capabilities, and Senior Management direction
• Work with all internal stakeholders to accomplish goals
• Estimating pricing and developing pricing package options including alternative layouts and materials
• Analyzing customer criteria and determining best design and processing specifications
• Order entry tooling-cutting dies and magnetic cylinders

Skills

• Experience in the pressure sensitive label or shrink sleeve industry or printing industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of printing processes and equipment
• Capacity to review and interpret customer specifications
• Preferably have at least 2 years of experience conducting estimates and production cost analysis of time, labor, and material
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Must have knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Online bidding experience. Experience with reverse auctions a plus
• Ability to engage in independent problem solving
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must possess strong math and analytical skills
• Detailed oriented and ability to work with tight deadlines
• Must possess excellent time management skills

· Must deal with others in a straightforward and honest manner, be accountable for actions, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate support of Company values

· Must meet commitments, work independently, accept accountability, and stay focused under pressure

· Must adapt to change and adjust to meet needs, be open to new ideas, and take on new responsibilities as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
