As a Compensation Analyst in Total Rewards, you will play a key role in delivering valuable support to the Rewards and Pay Equity programs. In a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, the Compensation Analyst will support the analysis and day-to-day administration of our Rewards and Pay Equity programs globally.


The analyst will have the opportunity to utilize their skills and experience to analyze data, streamline functional processes, and partner with various Human Resources team members and the business to enhance the overall employee and manager experience.

Acting as a subject matter expert, you add value by applying technical expertise to support the development and the consistent improvement of rewards programs, preparing reports, presentations, and analysis for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the successful execution of the annual rewards (merit, bonus, and stock) and pay equity programs. This includes, but is not limited to preparing timelines, materials, and communications, system preparation (testing), manager planning, reporting, and rewards processing.
  • Support the pay equity programs, including global pay equity and gender pay gap analysis, to ensure data accuracy, partnering with others to deliver a globally scalable process. This includes, but is not limited to data collection and analysis, preparing the associated reporting and various data cuts, and preparing the data for use in presentations with varied audiences/stakeholders.
  • Support compensation program design team by providing Rewards related data, including bonus, base pay, and equity.
  • Play a key role in bringing program design to life by supporting the design and business requirements, implementation, and ongoing enhancement opportunities within the Workday Advanced Compensation module and the business processes within it to support Rewards planning.
  • Use data and data analysis to support the programs and business in a variety of ways.
  • Provide ongoing and ad hoc data and analytics support for the Rewards and Pay Equity function, highlighting trends and opportunities of key performance metrics to support data driven decision making.
  • Complete Pay Equity analysis to ensure accuracy, partnering with others to deliver a globally scalable process.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable presentation scorecards, dashboards, and Power BI visualization metrics for internal Total Rewards and Human Resources use.
  • Continually analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements to ensure programs are competitive, equitable and aligned with our goals.
  • Assist in managing the programs' inboxes related to system/access functionality.
  • Assess current resources (tools, systems, databases, and processes) for alignment with business needs (current and future) and identify opportunities to streamline and enhance.
  • Develop and document internal standard operating procedures/processes to ensure consistency.
  • Gather and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Conduct or coordinate with various technology developers, system testing to ensure intended functionality.
  • Collaborate with partners and peers worldwide in a way that builds trust in the team's data, processes, and outcomes and ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with the Total Rewards Compensation Philosophy.
  • Partner with Business HR and other Human Resources partners on relevant rewards programs to better support and execute.
  • Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure company compliance on gender pay gap, pay transparency, and equity plans.

The ideal candidate should also have the following skills:

  • Strong analytics and data visualization skills: experience creating metrics and reporting dashboards using Power BI and Excel, modeling data in alignment with pay strategies and outcomes.
  • Skills to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Skills to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities; receiving general instruction and guidance while using independent discretion to resolve a variety of moderate to complex issues.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of relevant working experience in the following:

  • Analytics and data visualization: experience creating dashboards for reporting (i.e., Power BI).
  • Using data analysis to make recommendations and proposals to respond to that data.
  • Managing employee programs from needs assessment to program implementation and monitoring.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $81,800.00-$122,700.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
