Equipment Operator/Yard Technician

Full Job Description
This position is to be a part of the Bristol Marine team. It requires an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions and perform a wide variety of jobs. Candidates will be expected to have experience (5 years or more) and proficiency with the operation of boat hauling equipment including travel lifts, hydraulic trailers, forklifts, and cranes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Hauling and launching boats

• Stepping and unstepping rigs

• Towing and maneuvering boats using a skiff

• Versatility to assist in other departments in the marina as needed.

• General yard maintenance

• Applicant’s ability to contribute to the operation in other areas such as fiberglass, gelcoat, mechanical, varnish, etc. will be considered and factored into compensation.

* All of these jobs must be done with efficiency and care for one's self, coworkers, boats, and equipment.

• Salary range: $20-$30/hr
