Equipment Operator, Franklin, IL Job at Tovar Snow Professional
Position Purpose: The Equipment Operator’s responsibility is for the safe and efficient operation of multiple pieces of equipment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill the equipment as necessary.
- Load and unlock cargo
- Clocks in/out using provided time keeping app at start and end of shift.
- Follows correct and timely post-accident reporting and testing procedures
- All other Duties as assigned.
Education, Requirements and/or Professional Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver’s License - CDL preferred
- The ability to pass a background check
- The ability to pass a drug test.
- Acceptable driving record.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of equipment operation.
- On-Call daily availability from October 15th to April 15th
- Must have a smart phone that can download timekeeping application
Physical Requirements:
- Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, grasp, carry, push, and pull for long period of time.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds plus.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The ability to work under strenuous, inclement outdoor weather for extended periods of time.
