Job Summary:
Ideal candidate has supervisory skills, general knowledge of equipment (Bobcat skid steer, Toolcat 5600, Backhoe), and able to track and log hours. Assist Manager/Supervisor in training and tracking of snow shovelers time. Available to assist other departments as needed, which may include, but are not limited to: fall landscaping, hanging decorations for holidays, set-up and removal of summer fencing, stages and other tasks necessary to assist with the transition from Summer Operations to Winter Operations. Position requires a valid drivers license, snow removal experience utilizing heavy equipment, Skid Steer, Snow Plow Trucks, Backhoes, Snow Blowers, Shovels and Ice Chippers.
Job Specifications:
- Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.49
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time Available
- Able to work various shifts 7 days a week as early as 5:00 am. Must be available to work Holidays
- Skill Level: Intermediate
- Other Specifics: On Call / Remote
Job Responsibilities:
- Applicant must be able to meet stringent company eligibilty guidelines to drive vehicles and operate machinery
- Operate heavy eqipment and plow trucks in a safe manner, insuring safe efficient operations
- Oversee Snow Shovelers, insuring safe efficient snow removal operations
- Make sure parking lots are plowed properly,maximizing time and equipment.
- Responsible for hourly maintenance of equipment-grease, tire chains, cleanliness, etc.
- Responsible for reviewing snow shovelers time sheets
- Available to assist Maintenance department in tasks needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- At least 1 year heavy equipment experience - required
- Bobcat / Plow Truck experience
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently - required
- Valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record - required
- Able to lift and carry 100lbs - required
- Previous experience in snow removal operations using heavy equipment - preferred
The expected pay range is $20.00 - $24.49. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
