We are hiring spring 2023 grads to join our entry-level PACE Sales Training Program in Ju ne 2023.

The PACE program’s mission
is to provide an outstanding hands-on sales training and onboarding experience to accelerate your sales impact in your designated region.

This 6 - month training program will build your foundation of how to source new business leads , develop strategic relationships as well as educate you on how to differentiate our workplace solutions. At the end of the training program, you will become a New Business Sales Associate for 1-2 years with the plan for promotion into the Business Development Manager.

location options ( for the duration of the training and after ) may include :

  • Chicago, IL

What You Will Be Doing:
  • You will learn all about our organization, our insight-driven solutions, and about our complex industry through working in the field and by making multiple visits to our Grand Rapids Global Business Center.
  • Participate in centralized learning and receive sales coaching with your fellow PACErs.
  • Make multiple trips to Grand Rapids to practice and apply your knowledge from training
  • Your PACE cohort will learn to build and maintain a strong network of influencers from the Real Estate, General Contractor and/or Architect and Design communities.
  • Proactively develop new client relationships and create meaningful engagements to win Steelcase business.
  • Act as primary contact for Steelcase accounts
  • Learn to host and tour clients in your region or on a trip to our global business center
  • You may receive the opportunity to travel and attend NEOCON (showcase of industry) in Chicago
  • May also interact with clients to grow and gain more business in existing dealer-led and Steelcase global accounts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leaders on business strategy
  • Learn to use and track activities through Salesforce CRM.

  • Excellent, dynamic communication skills including presentation, written and verbal.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Competencies
  • Authorized to work in the US without any need of future sponsorship
  • Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in April/May/June of 2023
  • Ability to start the program in - Summer 2023
