GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Machine Operator II. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Sets up and various manufacturing equipment to perform machining operations, such as turning, boring, facing and threading parts.
- Loads workpiece manually and checks overall length with tape measure.
- Depresses buttons, toggles, or sets tape and starts machining operation.
- Observes numerical displays on control panel and compares with data on process sheet to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts.
- Performs various quality checks, inspects pieces for conformance to specifications using thread gauges.
- Maintains an accurate inventory through activities such as: proper reporting of material usage, minimizing wastes, and ensuring that measuring devices are properly calibrated.
- Job rotation between all shop machines, gun assembly and saw.
- Performs preventative maintenance as required.
- Ensures good housekeeping of all work areas.
- Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations.
- Follows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 2 - 3 year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
