Job Description

Blessed Virgin Mary School is accepting applications for the position of Enrollment Specialist. The Enrollment Specialist, in conjunction with the Principal & Business Manager leads the overall student enrollment process, from inquiries through admissions into the school ultimately enrolling new students in sufficient numbers to meet the goals of the Principal.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, experienced in enrollment, and sales. He or she should be a team player, self-motivated, organized and have exceptional communication skills. The candidate must exhibit a passion in articulating the mission of Blessed Virgin Mary School to perspective parents and students.

Qualifications

• Experience in enrollment management and sales
• Computer proficiency - Word, Google, Excel
• Experience in a parochial or not-for-profit environment preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning of recruitment and retention of students
• With Principal and Business Manager, set goals for student enrollment
• Answer and follow up on all inquiry calls and e-mails
• Maintain enrollment and admissions database via the FACTS enrollment system
• Respond to all grant and financial aid questions and inquiries
• Provide pro-active follow up with unregistered students
• Schedule school tours, interviews with prospective parents and plan open houses
• Prepare individual applicant folders for admissions/perspective parents
• Other duties as assigned
