Responsibilities

  • Prepare the machine with appropriate materials (e.g., thread, design file) to complete a job
  • Operate multiple embroidery machines at once to produce high-quality work
  • Ensure quality control by paying attention to details, as no two jobs are the same
  • Hoop garments and ensure proper placement of logos and other custom embroidery designs
  • Ensure product quality by trimming thread, removing backing, and inspecting each finished product
  • Finishing orders/products in a timely manner
  • Be able to edit digitizing files as need be
  • Keeping embroidery machines and work area clean
  • Monitor machine operation, stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions
  • Understand and perform daily maintenance and upkeep on embroidery machines
  • Check for quality of completed jobs
