Job Description

Hyde Park Health and Rehab is a leader in senior care providing Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled and long-term care in Cincinnati, OH. Hyde Park Health Care has adopted innovative technology to streamline operations. By integrating experience, technology, and service, we help hospitals, health systems and the facility staff concentrate primarily on what they do best, patient care.

General Overview

Due to the high amount of detail and electronic tracking of information, this position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, familiarity with medical terminology, coding, and advanced computer literacy.

This position performs release of PHI (Protected Health Information) and electronic medical record organization. Associates in this role foster patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of this role.

This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to always assure accuracy of the electronic record.

This position promotes positive customer relations through prompt and courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires confidence and organization to provide ongoing education to staff and clients who rely on our technology to provide exceptional care. This individual would be identified as the IT Champion.

Essential Job Functions

  • Establish and Maintain Electronic Health Record
  • Reports Directly to the Nursing Home Administrator
  • Build and provide educational seminars to assure EHR compliance for new and existing staff
  • Acts as EHR resource for staff
  • Organize and maintain the Medical Records office
  • Process all EHR requests and monitors/manages incoming requests
  • Support Hospital Systems and Physicians who rely on us for patient information
  • Maintain compliance with federal and facility policy
  • General Office Duties

Minimum Requirements

Must be LPN or RN for this position

Certificate or degree from college or technical school or 12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience within Electronic Health record Implementation and management.

Experience with American Health Tech (AHT) is preferred
