The Software Sales Development Representative will be held accountable on the revenue performance of the overall Operation & Maintenance Software offering. For the Core offering (Historian, View, AssetCentre) will rely on the support of the Automation specialist. For the IoT, Analytics, AR, CMMS, and other XaaS products, will own the offering both commercially and technically

This position will be responsible for driving NorthEast’s strategy to accelerate growth in the Software business, and is responsible for collaborating with the Sales and Product Specialist organization and all levels of Customers to sell and exceed annual sales growth goals for Information Software and adjacent partner software offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual commercial sales strategy and plan, meet or exceed growth targets
  • Meet or exceed sales and margin goals for Information Software products
  • Develop and execute on a customer acquisition strategy
  • Develop a sphere of relationships with targeted accounts, including all appropriate decision makers/stakeholders.
  • Leverage business acumen, market intelligence and relationships to develop new business outcomes for clients
  • Collaborate with industrial account managers to develop account strategies
  • Understand market focused plan and capabilities of Rockwell Automation, key System Integrator and OEM Partners and additional vendors to best deliver value to customers
  • Support Marketing efforts with branding, strategy and content

Required Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering –OR– equivalent combination of skills, experience or education
  • 5 Years of experience / knowledge applying RA’s products or equivalent competitive software
  • solutions; less for entry level
