Cato is seeking a dynamic Junior Graphic Designer that is responsible for graphic design and preparation of photography for all its brands. The right candidate should be a creative thinker with a passion for designing and communicating the latest trends in women’s fashion. This position works as part of an in-house creative team to achieve overall brand objectives through effective message strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Photo re-touching for all eCommerce digital assets.
• Assist with the creation of images and graphics for email marketing campaigns.
• Create and update graphics and images needed for social media efforts.
• Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
• Stay abreast of competitors’ advertising as well as current design trends and industry technologies.

Qualifications:

• Must have 1-3 years graphic design experience;
• Minimum two-year college degree in graphic design or equivalent experience;
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, In Design & Illustrator
• Good understanding of visual design principles – excellent judgement of color, design, layout and digital specifications;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is crucial;
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
• Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
