Driver/Warehouse Associate Job at Michael Wagner & Sons, Inc
Plumbing Supply seeking a reliable and motivated applicant who has good communication skills. Any knowledge of plumbing supplies is a plus, but not mandatory.
Your main job will be making local deliveries and you will also be required to help in the warehouse stocking and doing inventory when you return.
Benefits include health insurance after 90 days and 7 Paid Holidays a year. Additional sick and vacation time after 1 year.
Hours: 6:30 - 3:30 Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
* Be prompt.
* Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained.
* Safely load and unload the trucks.
* Communicate with our customers as to delivery times.
* Manage paperwork associated with the deliveries.
* Learn our computer systems to make back orders or process returns you may pick up.
* Be professional and have a good attitude.
* Follow all transportation laws.
Requirements
* Valid driver's license with clean driving record- NO CLD required.
* Willingness and ability to learn our processes and systems.
* Ability to lift 80 lbs.
* Ability to follow safe driving practices.
* Ability to communicate with clients and suppliers efficiently.
* Ability to manage time effectively.
* Ability to check orders for accuracy.
* Customer-oriented and hardworking individual.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
