Driver Manager Job at Patriot Truck Lines
Patriot Truck Lines is seeking a driven individual for a full-time Driver Manager. Located in our Brundidge, AL office, this position is in-person from 7 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday. Some additional on-call hours may apply. Please note this is not a remote position.

Required skill set:
- Driver Manager or dispatch experience
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities (written and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
- Superior organization and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail)

Ideal candidates will also possess:
- Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations and driver’s HOS (hours of service).
Responsibilities include:
Coordination & Management of driver’s schedules and routes from beginning to end, including:
- Dispatching daily load information to multiple drivers
- Assisting drivers with needed information such as pick up numbers, purchase order numbers, routing or directions when needed, etc.
- Utilizing GPS tracking to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery
- Communicating with multiple parties who have an interest in the load (ie: customer, broker, accounting, safety or repair personnel)
- Reviewing driver’s logs
- Assisting drivers with fuel solutions and road repairs as needed
