Drafter Job at Western Trailers Manufacturing
Western Trailers is seeking an entry level or experienced Manufacturing Drafter for our Boise, Idaho location. The position will be responsible for producing and maintaining manufacturing drawings for custom semi-trailers. Candidates must be detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task, and problem solve in a fast paced environment under direction of a product engineer.
Responsibilities:
· Create, edit, and maintain manufacturing drawings with AutoCAD.
· Create, edit, and maintain 3D parts, assemblies, and drawings with Autodesk Inventor.
· Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
· Associates degree in drafting.
· General knowledge of manufacturing industry.
· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling.
· Ability to read, interpret, and annotate manufacturing drawings.
· High level of professionalism.
· Ability to set, coordinate, and accomplish multiple priorities.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate in a team environment with other design and manufacturing professionals.
Job Scope:
Produce CAD parts and assemblies together with annotated drawings for semi-trailer production.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
