Looking for housekeeping professionals to join THE elite hospitality staffing service in Puerto Rico. Experienced housekeepers with attention to detail, bi-lingual communication skills will be considered. Positive outlook, professional appearance and ability to work a flexible schedule. Desire to learn and fully comply with service, health and safety protocols.

Requisitos - Requirements:

1) Minimum of 18 years of age with customer service orientation
2) Health and Good Conduct certificates
3) Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English/Spanish with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
4) Ability to provide legible communication and compute basic mathematical calculations
5) Professional appearance, dependability, integrity and positive demeanor
6) Move, list, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
7) Reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling and stopping. Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
8) Drug screening and background check may be required of successful candidates

Duties:

• Make beds and fold sheets neatly and consistently according to brand standards

• Clean bathrooms including bathtub/shower, toilet, floor, sink and mirror

• Replace guest amenities and supplies, straighten desk items, furniture and appliances

• Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items

• Greet guests and take care of requests

• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.

• Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.

• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Dust and polish and remove marks from walls, furniture and equipment.

• Select cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment for various surfaces and cleaning jobs, following OSHA regulations and corporate standards

• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
