Description:
Quality Document Systems Management is responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of controlled documentation and supporting systems. Has developed specialized knowledge / skills in own area. Applies knowledge / skills to a range of activities. Completes work assignments independently or with minimal supervision / guidance. Acts as a technical resource for colleagues with less experience in own area. May coordinate activities of others.
Responsibilities - Document Control / Technical Writing Support:
- Review quality system policies / procedures for compliance to BD templates and style guide; support document owners by finalizing drafts to align with BD templates and style guide
- Compile finalized documents for BD-internal release as PDF, using Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Upload documents to SAP DMS (Document Management System), route for approval and release
- Upload released documents for internal distribution (e.g. to Microsoft SharePoint)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Microsoft Office (primarily Word, some use of other Office applications, incl. Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams virtual conferencing / collaboration
- Use of electronic document management system, preferably SAP DMS
Experience:
- Document Control (approval/release processing) in a regulated (preferably Medical Device / Pharmaceutical) environment
- Technical Writing of quality system policies / procedures in a regulated (preferably Medical Device / Pharmaceutical) environment
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
