Job Summary

Holistic Health Group Inventory Specialist will assist the Inventory Manager including but not limited to detailed receiving, auditing, replenishing and destruction procedures as outlined by company policy and state regulation. In addition, the Inventory Specialist will facilitate fulfillment processes at the point of sale ensuring quality customer experience. The Inventory Specialist will maintain the physical organization of all products in an effort to provide optimal efficiency and accountability within the dispensary.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist the Inventory Manager in daily counts of all inventories, performing reconciliations when necessary
  • Facilitate fulfillment process at the point of sale
  • Audit all product received as needed, ensuring properly tagged items in accordance to state and local regulations
  • Displays strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures as well as computer-based skills
  • Maintains regulatory compliance
  • Ensure product matches manifest description; escalate to management to ensure corrective action is taken when needed
  • Maintain active knowledge of incoming inventory and inventory levels on hand
  • Monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify Management when material has expired or is damaged
  • Organize and maintain inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling
  • Assist in other day to day functions of the store
  • Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of all inventory processing and storage areas
  • Ensure sales floor is consistently replenished and properly stocked


Skills:

  • Understanding of Point of Sale systems, Cannabis specific preferred
  • Ability to frequently lift and store product
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills are a must, including measuring and monitoring key performance metrics, maximizing efficiencies and customer service levels
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills preferred
  • Attention to detail, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
  • Effective communication skills


Education

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.


Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience working in a cannabis retail setting preferred
  • 1 year of previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age minimum.


Working conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting.
  • Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors, and customers. Work may include dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors.


Physical requirements

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and/or caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms. Must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings.
  • Frequently operates computer/POS system and other standard office equipment such as printers, phones, and photocopy machines.
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position when checking in customers or when operating the register.
  • Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs. throughout the dispensary.
  • Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties associated with functioning as a dispensary agent.
