Responsibilities

The Fleet Management Technician 1 operates and maintains motor vehicles and equipment. Schedules and dispatches the organization's vehicles and drivers. Performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Prepares reports on inspection findings and ensures proper vehicle maintenance to comply with prescribed safety regulations. Develops design specifications for vehicle requisitions. May negotiate vehicle and/or equipment purchase terms in coordination with the procurement function.

Must be Bilingual English/Spanish

Remote position but must live in the Miami or Hialeah area.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Bilingual – ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish.

  • Must have dispatching and scheduling experience.

  • Experience in the fleet management or background in field of transportation, dispatching and scheduling routes and tracking vehicles, shipments, or drivers.

  • Customer Service experience

  • Must live in Miami as they will need to be able to go to center when/if required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have working home internet service and a room or quiet space they can designate as a home office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience is a plus

Working Hours: Can be anytime between 9am-6pm (EST) or may be required to start earlier, Monday- Friday

You should anticipate this interview to take about 15 minutes. Your recorded interview will be reviewed, and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Additional Information:

Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
