Essential Functions:
Working under the supervision of the Sous Chef, the Dishwasher position is a position where you will contribute your expertise to help achieve the restaurant’s objectives in cleanliness, sanitation, guest service, and satisfaction.
Dishwashing (glassware, plates, silverware, pots, pans etc.).- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
- Sort and re-shelve clean dishes, keep kitchen organized.
- Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed.
- Janitorial (cleaning bathrooms, mop kitchen, vacuuming, light maintenance etc.).
- Miscellaneous deep cleaning as needed.
- Clean up spills and broken glassware immediately.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Team players ONLY!
- Must love cleaning.
- Must be 16+ and able to work independently.
- Promote the culture, values, and mission of JOA Korean BBQ.
- Experience cleaning a commercial kitchen a plus.
- Ability to acquire a valid Texas Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hiring.
