JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek caring, friendly and compassionate individuals to serve as Dishwashers for our facility. Our Dishwashers maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates dish washing machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and food service equipment
• Sets up and cleans dish washing machine area and refills required chemicals as necessary
• Stores clean equipment and utensils
• Assists in maintaining sanitary conditions for food prep and service
• Empties garbage in dumpster
• Sweeps and mops floors
• May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to work well with others
• Enjoy working with senior citizens
• Ability to take directions from supervisor and follow through to completion with task.
• Must have schedule flexibility and be able to work weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, push, pull, sit and stand on feet for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Job offer is contingent on the following:

• Must pass background check (or have approved exemption)
• Must pass drug test, pre-employment physical and TB test
• Must be vaccinated for COVID with booster (no exceptions)
