Summary: Handles the recruitment and onboarding programs and focuses on human resources trends and data for continued improvement.

Location: Remote

Anticipated salary: $90,000 Extended experience: up to $107,500 if experience exceeds expectations

Principal Functions:

• Handles and/or oversees recruitment to include job postings and ads, reviewing resumes, screening and interviewing candidates; checking references; and extending job offers.

• Manages the tracking software for applicants and onboarding.

• Manages the onboarding process with assistance from OPSD specialist.

• Tracks trends and developments in recruitment and onboarding.

• Conducts exit interviews and tracks data for patterns and issues.

• Oversees the performance assessment process including setting dates, distribution, and collection of forms in the performance management software system. Reviews assessments for specific concerns or employee information.

• Conducts studies, performs research and prepares reports for projects and potential new activities.

• Participates in staff committees.

• Ensures compliance with rules and regulations.

• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

• HR certification preferred

• 5 years in an exempt level HR position handling recruitment and generalist responsibilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

• Strong computer skills
