Job Purpose:

Position Overview: The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring that the branch office is providing 100% impeccable Customer Service, Integrity and Intensity on a branch level. Branch Manager maintains a profit center through the development of Loan Originators and support staff to achieve optimal sales and profitability goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the working pipeline
  • Identifying priority files
  • Reducing days in process
  • Ensuring files are compliant and of the highest quality
  • Sign off authority on Prior to Document and Prior to Funding Conditions
  • Work with Post Closing on any/all files which are not immediately salable
  • Oversee operations staff to ensure their prioritization of files is in line with Sales and Regional Sales Managers direction

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years mortgage originating experience in current lending environment
  • Previous management experience preferred and experiences with Point/Calyx LOS systems a plus.
  • Candidates will possess excellent communication skills, high integrity, and ethical standards Seasoned ability to motivate a team to drive business and manage to bottom line profitability

  • Successful candidates must have a driven personality accompanied by a demonstrated track record of reaching management presence and sales goals.
  • Ability to exhibit professional written and verbal communication at all times
  • Ability to organize, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and handle detailed assignments
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices and procedures
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment, while maintaining the highest level of customer service, professional composure, and integrity
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a deadline intensive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to influence through collaboration.
  • Self-motivated, high level of personal energy and commitment.
  • Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability are of key importance.
