ABOUT BRIXBID:

Brixbid is an innovative negotiation-based apartment listing platform that launched in 2020. Conceived by commercial real estate veterans who own and operate thousands of apartment units across the Midwest, Brixbid aims to serve both renters and landlords by offering a first-of-its-kind turnkey experience for apartment leasing transactions within a user-friendly, web-based platform.

Unlike other listing websites, Brixbid offers a full suite of services scalable to the needs of the landlord. These services include an elegant interface showcasing listings through an interactive map; dynamic negotiation-based pricing that includes both fixed-rate and bid options; the ability to schedule apartment showings through the Brixbid platform; fair housing-compliant tenant screening services; and digital lease execution through a legally compliant lease provided by Brixbid or the property owner.

Brixbid is rolling out a network of local brokerage offices across the United States, and Denver has been identified as one of a half dozen initial locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Brixbid is looking for a seasoned leasing professional to open and manage our Denver leasing office. The successful candidate should have at least seven and preferably 10+ years of leasing experience in the Denver market. Prior experience opening leasing offices is a plus. The Director of Leasing, Denver (Director), will build the Denver office from the ground up with institutional support from the Brixbid corporate team. In addition to establishing the office, the Director will be responsible for all aspects of ongoing Denver operations including hiring and managing leasing agents and any support/administrative staff, procuring clients, assuring leasing and revenue goals are met and managing all office operations and support staff. The position will report directly to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and will interact regularly with Brixbid ownership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and hire a team of leasing agents to staff the Denver office.
• Procure office or temporary co-working space for the Brixbid Denver storefront.
• Generate exclusive listings on a pro-active basis, presumably through an established network of relationships with apartment owners and managers.
• Work with the CDO to launch a marketing campaign in the Denver MSA including both digital and traditional marketing.
• Implement Brixbid's standard administrative structure at the Denver office including IT systems, admin staffing as needed and Brixbid's standard marketing and communications protocols.
• Manage all aspects of office operations once established.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7-10 years of leasing experience in the Denver market.
• Well-established relationships with a broad cross-section of apartment owners and managers throughout the Denver market.
• Relationships with a network of leasing agents throughout Denver who may be approached to join Brixbid.
• Highly motivated and pro-active individual who is appropriately aggressive yet works well with others.
• Ability to effectively manage a team of leasing agents and oversee the local office operation on a comprehensive basis.
• Must be an individual who is recognized as a top leasing professional in the Denver market.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the recognition that results will generate commensurate compensation.
