About us: Project 88 Music Academy is a growing nonprofit music organization with a mission to make high-quality music education accessible to the local community. We currently present an annual concert series and educate local students in our Music Academy. We offer private lessons and group classes to students in the areas of piano, violin, and composition.

About the role: This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week that reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities include:
- Promote awareness of the organization's mission and work.
- Develop and implement a growth plan and a timeline focused on raising funds.
- Research potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to best position our organization to increase donations.
- Maintain a complete and accurate donor record, as well as handle appropriate communication with donors.
- Assist in brainstorming new methods of fundraising.
- Analyze fundraising processes, campaigns, and events to determine effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Build upon existing donor relationships and build relationships with new potential donors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience in fundraising or a similar role
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, yet good interpersonal skills for working as a member of a larger team

Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years or more of experience in fundraising with proven ability to raise money
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business, or other applicable area

Pay: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
