Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical biomarker and CDx development/filing for BeiGene’s PD-1 antibody related pivotal trials together with BeiGene’s strategic partners
  • Lead clinical biomarker and CDx development for innovative Immunotherapy medicines(small molecule or biologics)
  • Responsible for integrating translational research and clinical development to develop a biomarker strategy in alignment with clinical development objectives, leading efforts for data generations, interpretation and communication to the development team
  • Engages functional groups to develop, champion, implement and align biomarker strategies for development projects in support of the overall R&D portfolio goals
  • Effectively engages with teams and utilizes internal and external resources to define, revise and progress translational/biomarker plans
  • Engages team members to ensure alignment of biomarker strategies with clinical operational plans with functional area capabilities.
  • Effectively interfaces with functional areas to ensure strategic alignment and to obtain appropriate operational resources to deliver on biomarker goals
  • Communicated key biomarker program information, risks and milestones, and manages information flow across internal and external stake holders

Required Experience:
  • MD or PhD in Life Science areas with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the drug development process within a pharmaceutical company or biotech industry.
  • Significant understanding of the role of translational research, clinical biomarker and companion diagnostic development in drug development
  • Companion diagnostic regulatory filing experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix and global working environment
  • Ability to multitask across multiple development assets
  • Prior experience with track record of success in working together with strategic partners is a plus
  • Experience with biomarker publications in the industry setting is a plus

Salary Range: $178,600.00 - $238,600.00 annually

Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
