Direct Care Staff Job at CHS GROUP LLC
IMPORTANT NOTE: The jobs that we are advertisinig are located near the Michigan/Ohio border in Erie, Temperance or Ida, Michigan. Your interview will be in Monroe, MI but your work site would be one of the cities listed above.
CHS is hiring direct care staff to provide assistance to our wonderful clients with special needs. The job involves helping participants become as independent as possible by teaching things like home care, cooking, laundry and social skills. This is a rewarding job that provides excellent experience for those going into health care, education or social work. Reliability and patience are the most important qualities.
Afternoon shift has the highest demand (4-12) and at least one weekend day is required. Previous experience is helpful, but we are willing to train. You MUST have a driver's license unless you are willing to work midnight shifts (12-8). We can accept an unlicensed driver for that shift only.
Note that pay is based on $12.00 per hour plus $2.35 state incentive. As such, the brief training period is paid at a rate of $12.00
