Mountainside is looking to hire a Per Diem Sober Living Coordinator located in Canaan, CT!!!

Quick Description:

This position supports our sober living clients on a part-time live-in basis. You are there to support those living in the house for daily accountability. In this position you would provide rides with a company vehicle to 12 step supports, assist those in maintaining evening schedules and provide oversight to those living in the house.

Compensation:

• The base salary for the position is $15.00 to $22.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
• Competitive hourly wage; Paid sick time; 401(k) with employer matching; Paid holidays; Free meals while working on the Canaan campus and a monthly $75 wellness reimbursement.

Your Role:

• Address day-to-day non-therapeutic needs of clients while maintaining a calm, welcoming and professional demeanor
• Facilitate 12-step support and life skills related groups
• Facilitate outings such as 12-step meetings, bowling, trips to the movies
• Facilitate Wellness outings such as yoga and hikes
• Provide transportation as needed
• Provide guidance related to daily life skills (laundry, chores, cleaning, budgeting, grocery shopping)
• Assist with administration and processing of drug screens and breathalyzers
• Assist with morning wake-up and evening bed check of clients as necessary
• Perform errands such as delivering or picking up mail, packages, food, medications, and cleaning supplies.
• Offers real-time mentorship and guidance to clients living in the house
• Monitors sign in/sign out sheet to ensure all extended care residents are accounted for
• Ensures house is clean, organized and, properly stocked with supplies, linens, groceries, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate of equivalent in GED
• Current or working towards certification (CAC, CASAC, CPRS )
• Minimum 1 years' experience/knowledge in substance abuse treatment preferred
