At Sterling our employees are our most valuable resource and due to our continued and rapid growth we have two full-time Digital Print Operators opportunity at our brand-new facility in Hauppauge, NY (Long Island, Suffolk County) Working 1st and/or 2nd Shift!

Our ideal candidates will Setup and operate Oce Printers with booklet maker in accordance with instructions. Monitor production for quality and accuracy. Inspect finished work for sharpness, density of line, position count and sizes, and any problem areas including fonts, and image resolution. All while meeting volume/efficiency productivity expectations. If this sounds like you, please keep reading!

How You'll Help Us Be Successful:

• Review Job Ticket and follow instructions
• Inspect quality and assist with QC procedures for all jobs coming off the print machines
• Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment as needed
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

• Knowledge preferred but will train.
• Familiarity with printing service industry.
• Strong organizational, and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Energetic, dependable and a reliable team player.
• Ability to follow directions, safety standards and be on-call for emergency situations.
• Willing to work overtime as required, occasionally on short notice.
