New Cassel Retirement is looking for F/T Dietary Servers. 6am - 215pm Shift. No experience necessary, will train.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Assist with set up before meal starts:
a. Pour all beverages that are needed.
b. Place all other food items in proper place on serving line.

2. During Serving time:
a. Carry trays from serving line to table for residents needing help.
b. Pick up numbers from residents who do not go through the serving line.
c. Fill resident’s menu choices and return tray to them at their table.
d. Serve food at serving line with established portion control procedures.

3. After the meal:
a. Clean up the Dining Rooms.
b. Carry trays of dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
c. Help the dishwasher by scraping and cleaning off trays.
d. Wash and keep juice machine clean and filled.
e. Assist with washing pots and pans.
f. Thoroughly wash the table tops and chairs as needed.
g. Refill the napkins, sugars, creamers, etc at the tables.
h. Put away clean dishes and silverware.

4. Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
a. Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.

5. Accept all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.

2. Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.

3. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.

4. Must posses sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met, to include the use of dietary equipment and supplies.

5. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, personnel and support agencies.

6. Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.

7. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people within the facility.

8. May be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds throughout the work day.
