Temporary Full-time position (open for Part-time). $20 - $23/hr (D.O.E)

Position Description

As a member of the Catholic Charities Foundation team, the Foundation Assistant’s primary focus is accurate data entry. The optimal candidate quickly and confidentially enters gift and constituent data into the donor database. This is a great entry position for someone interested in developing a fundraising career at an established nonprofit with a growing fundraising department.

Responsibilities

• Enters gift and constituent data into Raiser’s Edge.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors by phone and email.
• Adheres to strict confidentiality agreement relating to donor and gift information.
• Maintains digital files relating to donor records and gift processing.
• Assists in mailing acknowledgement letters (printing, folding machine, stuffing, etc.).
• Assists in other special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Brings a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work.
• Contribute to a team culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.
• Offers strong data entry skills - solution oriented while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors and staff through all forms of communication.
• Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Build a positive relationship with Catholic Charities Foundation team members, colleagues, and donors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge software preferred.
• Experience in the nonprofit sector, preferably in a development office.
• Native Spanish speaker.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required as a condition of employment upon offer.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
