Deputy Coroner Job at Morgan County, CO
Job Description
The Deputy Coroner works under the supervision of the Coroner, the Deputy Coroner will be responsible for responding to violent, traumatic, unexpected and unattended deaths county wide. The Deputy will complete scene investigations, take scene photographs, pronounce death, secure evidence, make positive identification and make notification to next of kin.
Temporary, On-call part time position. No benefits.
Rate of pay is $48.00 per day for on-call. Physical hours worked paid at time and half ($29.25/hour) after the first hour worked according to policy. First hour physically worked paid at $19.50.
