Dental Assistant Job at West Tampa Dental
West Tampa Dental is a small practice in Tampa, FL. Our goal is to provide excellent dental care through superior customer service and honest communication.
Our office is looking for a BILINGUAL dental assistant to help us keep the patient flow moving smoothly. The assistant is responsible for ensuring that patients are comfortable and have a pleasant experience. We are looking for a candidate with outstanding communication skills and has experience working with a dental team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental assistant duties such as sterilizing dental instruments and operatories, digital x-rays, fabricate provisionals, monitoring supplies, and reviewing paper work.
- Understand English and be able to translate to Spanish to educate patients.
- Assist dentist with procedures chairside
- Itero scan with patient education (experience preferred but training provided)
- Use computers for scheduling appointments (Dentrix- training provided), updating patient records, and taking digital x-rays.
- Front office duties when needed, such as greeting patients, taking/making phone calls, confirming and scheduling appointments, collecting, and filing.
- Follow safety procedures and cleanliness protocols
