A typical day might include the following:

• Delivery of small to medium size equipment to jobsites or customers’ homes
• Ensure all equipment is ready to rent and staged or pre-loaded
• Loading and unloading equipment as yard flow dictates
• As equipment returns, notify counter of current hours and fuel needed by handheld radio
• Assist retail customers
• Keep retail yard area clean and organized and wash returned equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:

o Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance

o Leaving the scene of an accident

o Committing a felony with a motor vehicle

o Reckless driving

o Excessive speed

• Able to commit to a drug-free workplace

Additional qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Able to pass a forklift-training and propane-training test
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules which some include Saturdays
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds several times in one shift
• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
