Delivery Driver Team Member Job Description

Mission: Serving fresh, hot food in a friendly and fast manner, while helping maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and fellow team members.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

Some of the duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:

• Treating all guests and fellow team members with honor, dignity and respect.
• Double checking orders for accuracy before leaving the premises.
• Packing sealed orders in corresponding delivery bags to keep food hot or cold.
• Driving orders to scheduled destination.
• Bending, climbing, and twisting at the waist to gasp and control items with your fingers and hands.
• Read and understand English fluently to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers and supervisors.
• Stocking products and supplies, lifting and retrieving items which may weight up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to comply with all safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Possess, or ability to possess, a California Food Handlers Certification.
• Following all of Chick-fil-A’s uniform policies.

Qualifications for a Delivery Driver:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Pass the DMV and Background check / Clean driving record
• 2+ years driving experience & valid driver’s license
• Work at least 4 5-hour shifts per month

Training starts in January 2023.

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
