Delivery Driver/Shipping and Receiving Job at Homestead Cabinets & Furniture
Homestead Cabinet & Furniture is looking for full-time delivery driver and shipping tech. Homestead represents a refreshing, new way of thinking and of doing business. We work hard to produce high quality, custom cabinetry with skilled craftsmen working in modern facilities. Homestead is a company that values its employees and their welfare. CDL Class A license and an endorsement to drive with a trailer are required.
Homestead pays for all hotels and meals while driver is on the road. Travel to some amazing places in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Arizona. Nearly all deliveries are during the week, so driver is home on the weekends. Starting wage is $19 an hour depending on experience.
Job responsibilities include:
- Drive truck and trailer out-of-state as needed (normally out of town 2-3 days per week)
- Serve as a liaison between Homestead Cabinet and our dealers (must have good social skills); Will need to communicate delivery status and any delays to customers.
- Conduct daily/weekly inspection of vehicles and report any maintenance issues as well as keep vehicles clean.
- Fill out and turn in necessary paperwork on time and with accuracy (attention to detail is important).
- Load trailers in an efficient and organized manner (usually 1-3 days per week) in Hyrum, Utah.
- Help unload trailer at job sites.
