POSITION: Development Data Analyst
RESPONSIBLE TO: Manager of Development Services
SCHEDULE: Full-time, ~37.5 hr/wk
ON-SITE/REMOTE: 40% on-site, 60% remote
PAY RANGE: $20.19 - $22.06

DEVELOPMENT TEAM OBJECTIVE:
You will support PPRM’s programs by raising private gifts from individuals, foundations, companies, local governments, and other sources.

THE OBJECTIVE:
You will accurately process, record, and acknowledge all contributions to PPRM. You will analyze data processes and procedures and make recommendations to improve them, fulfill data requests, and create weekly and monthly itemized financial reports for analysis of fundraising progress. You will track, report, and partner with health center staff on fundraising tactics for the Health Center/Patient Donation Program.

SUCESS:
You will know you are successful when all donor gifts are received, tracked, and acknowledged in a timely in and compliant manner, and all donation data is maintained and analyzed to further the mission and goals of PPRM.

SNAPSHOT:
Your days will be filled with receiving, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on data; some in the form of physical mail, others using various online platforms and reporting sources. Some gift-processing work will be required on-site but other tasks may be completed remotely. You may work flexible hours depending on department needs. Donor communication whether via phone, email or in-person will be required. Because Development is a relationship-based field, staff will be in office together one day a week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have least one year of experience in data entry, report creations, and data analysis.
  • You may have worked in fundraising before (for at least a year) or perhaps at another Planned Parenthood affiliate, in any department.
  • You excel at adapting and learning new software systems, and you may have experience with Raiser’s Edge, EveryAction, MobileCause, or Omatic.
  • You consistently communicate ethically and effectively, both verbally and written.
  • You demonstrate proficiency with Raiser’s Edge or another comparable constituent record management system.
  • You are well-versed with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • You may have experience with EveryAction, MobileCause, or Omatic.

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Data and Systems: You’re knee-deep in our databases, ensuring that they reflect current, accurate, and complete donor data. You have an eye toward policies and procedures and ensure others on the team have the requisite understanding and skills of our data systems as well. To do this, you will:
  • Maintain integrity of Raiser’s Edge (CRM) and RE-NXT databases by creating and updating donor and gift records.
  • Respond to and process information from various sources including donors, staff, third party platforms, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), etc.
  • Assist in maintaining written policies and procedures for Raiser’s Edge database. Maintain donor and gift records by processing and entering all gifts into Raiser’s Edge within established timeline using appropriate coding, ensuring compliance with donor intent and archival of gift documentation. This includes gifts made online, via stock, EFT, cash, checks, credit cards, pledges, pledge payments, and in-kind gifts.
  • Manage and analyze data to create streamlined imports of contribution and donor data utilizing Import-o-Matic software.
  • Produce queries, exports, imports, and reports, including monthly, quarterly, yearly, ad-hoc financial and activity reports, mailing lists, and data clean-up projects.

  • Support Donor Experience:
    As a key contributor to the team, you engage directly with internal and external parties focused on donor contact, inquiries and acknowledgement. Your efforts help ensure our collective work yields the dollars and the donor experience that maintains and enables expansion of our work. To do this, you will:
  • Serve as primary contact for incoming calls and emails related to donations and correspond with donors in a timely manner to resolve inquiries.
  • Manage gift acknowledgement process by drafting, editing, and regularly updating timely IRS-compliant acknowledgement for all contributions
  • Support stewardship program with list production, donor phone calls,
  • Support and help implement the Health Center/Patient Donation Program by facilitating staff trainings and tracking and reporting progress.
  • Maintain other records including but not limited to procedural documents and audit files.
  • Work with Development team members to create and adhere to the strategic plan and annual budget. Supports the Development leadership to achieve desired fundraising goals.
  • Support team and agency-wide objectives through, but not limited to visibility at internal and external events, and by participating in task forces, committees, and engagement with external partners.
  • Some travel to affiliate health centers may be required.

  • Abortion Care:
    We all work in abortion care, whether it is referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc. In this role you are responsible for managing and analyzing data for the development team to maximize fundraising efforts for all the work we do possible, including Abortion Care.

COVID-19 Vaccine & Booster:
PPRM requires that all employees are fully vaccinated and boosted as a condition of employment. An employee is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or one dose of a single- dose vaccination (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen). The COVID-19 vaccine booster shot is required by the first day of employment, or five months after receiving the final dose of the original vaccine series, whichever is later. Proof must be uploaded upon starting. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) on your first day of orientation.

Flu Protocol:
All employees working directly with patients or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient contact or while in the health center from October 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). The flu shot will be available to health center employees in the health center in addition to being able to seek the flu vaccine externally through the medical plan or reimbursement.
