Job Description

• This employee is responsible for entering data from Hepatitis Risk Assessments forms received by the Viral Hepatitis and Outbreak Response Section.
• This employee will enter this information into the Surveillance Tools and Reporting System (STARS) system.
• The incumbent handles protected health information on a need to know basis following Department of Health, HIPPA and Information Security Policy Protocols and Procedures.
• This employee abides by State/Federal laws governing health information.

Completes Timesheets weekly and submit them for approval.

Minimum Skill Requirement: Skill in operating a personal computer

• Ability to operate general office equipment
• Ability to follow office procedures and practices
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
