Data Analyst - Supply Chain Job at Webstaurant Store
WebstaurantStore, the world’s largest online restaurant supply company, is looking for a full time supply chain data analyst to join the Inbound Transportation Team.
This team is responsible for domestic and international transportation into our expansive network of warehouses and distribution centers throughout the USA. This team serves as a critical link between procurement and warehouse operations.
We are looking for a remote data expert to improve automation of current processes on the Inbound Transportation Team. The ideal candidate should take initiative in identifying inefficiencies within our supply chain and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvement.
As a Data Analyst – Supply Chain you will:
o Design and maintain key reports to enhance company performance
o Apply analytic skills to manage and manipulate high volume data from a variety of sources
o Identify inefficiencies and implement processes to reduce cost/improve quality in the supply chain
o Monitor changes affecting inbound volume and transportation metrics
o Collaborate with other teams to accomplish cross-departmental goals
o Solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
We are looking for a driven, motivated candidate who has:
o Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or Supply Chain/Logistics
o Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI are required
o Proficiency with SQL, R, and Python are preferred
o Ability to deep dive into operational data while using KPIs to improve speed and reliability across the network.
o Passion for business analytics and working with large data sets
o Proficiency in aggregating, cleaning, automating, and analyzing data
o Strong communication skills, capable of conveying supply chain ideas to other departments
o Adaptability to change and is willing to keep up to date with the trends and issues of the supply chain industry
o Integrity and will represent Clark Associates well with external providers
o Curiosity about how processes work and can ask the right questions

Remote work qualifications
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
