Job Description
*** LIMITED TERM POSITION UP TO 6 MONTHS ***
POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resource (HR) Data Analyst establishes and maintains statistical reports, performs internal audits and produces applicable reports. Acts as the information systems specialist for peripheral software and performs general Human Resources duties as requested.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree or related certifications/training preferred.
Knowledge:
  • A strong working knowledge of statistical analysis and trending is required.
  • A working knowledge of Workday HCM and Reporting modules is strongly preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, tables and reports.
  • Experience with web-based content management systems preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, to include formulas, to perform data audits required.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision, maintain productivity and keep on task.
  • Ability to recognize data inconsistencies, investigate and recommend resolution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to complete a multitude of tasks and assignments quickly and efficiently; ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate complex data into clear and concise reports with common industry data mining methodologies required.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify gaps in processes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to document department and organizational processes in clear and concise way.
  • The ability to utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills to effectively handle occurrences relative to data resolution
  • Typing abilities of 40+ CWPM preferred
  • Intermediate (75%) proficiency in Windows, Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs) and Word software programs are required.
