eSkillz is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for generating, reviewing, and maintaining sales and financial reports, dashboards, and trackers in Excel/Power BI as well as recording data in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other supporting functions within Business Development & Operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Daily management of financial reports, dashboards, and trackers
• Daily collaboration with greater Business Development team and eSkillz BD leadership.
• Create compelling visualizations and reports as you lead the effort to gather requirements, design, develop, implement, and support Power BI reports and dashboards for the organization.
• Assist with building and maintaining a data governance plan across Go To Market Systems
• Research and input data/ change requests into CRM systems.
• Provide detailed updates and status reports on ongoing financial and data analysis projects
• Execute professionalism in presenting information to members of Executive management
• Manage monthly and quarterly statistics and data trends for sales and accrual revenue
• Administration and configuration of Power BI gateway, pipelines, data flows, user setup and organizational workspace, content packs, report deployment and app publishing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Three (3) years or more of professional experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Accounting, or other Business related fields
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Intermediate experience using MS Power BI. Must have an understanding of Power BI Desktop/Azure, and SQL.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
• Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
• Solid understanding of data structures, data entities, data models with knowledge of database joins/ impact on data sets; including the ability to collect, clean, and transform data sets from various sources to meet project requirements.
• Strong understanding of SQL, MySQL, and Stored Procedures.
• Preferred: Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Preferred: three (3) or more years experience in finance or equivalent with specific experience working with labor management and financial analysis
• Preferred: knowledge of Harvest time management system
• Preferred: knowledge of Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Preferred: familiarity with consulting services companies

• Clear communication skills to proactively provide updates on project statuses, raise/escalate issues/challenges as they arise, and the ability to lead projects and initiatives
• Good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and other business areas
• Basic statistical knowledge work with statistics and aggregate functions, writing functions (if functions, aggregate functions, and simple lookups), and create functions of varying types (conditional statements and logical statements)
• High curiosity and interest in learning new technologies as well as growing your career
• Exhibited technical aptitude through projects, experience, or online learning and ability to communicate what you know
