Status: *The ideal candidate will live in the Eagan, MN area and be willing to work in the office 2 days a week. Remote candidates with exceptionally strong skills will be considered.

The Customer Support Specialist will provide support to customers via chat, phone, and email. The expectation is to deliver high-quality experiences to each customer by providing exceptional service during all interactions, delivering engaging correspondence using the defined methodology, and accurately and efficiently entering customer information.
The position will demonstrate strong problem-resolution skills while concurrently building rapport with every customer.
The Customer Support Specialist will complete a variety of administrative tasks and data entry.
This position requires someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve.
The ideal candidate has a passion for Customer Service and previously demonstrated dynamic, energetic customer service.

Experiences/Education Required:

  • Minimum of an AAS degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
  • Keyboarding experience
  • Database experience

Duties:

  • Successfully perform all customer service functions through effective live chat, phone, email, and interactions
  • Communicate clearly and accurately as Primary Live Chat representative while assisting multiple customers
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, specifically continuing education courses and professional development workshops
  • Provide personalized interactions to assist customers in achieving their continuing education goals
  • Determine needs and provide solutions to customers to assist in the successful navigation of the online platform
  • Determine needs and provide solutions to customers to assist in the successful completion of our courses
  • Provide guidance on transcript processing and requests
  • Completes registration process for customers
  • Provide backup to the Fulfillment Specialist
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use typical office equipment, including a computer and telephone; strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone.
