JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Customer Service Specialist is the focal point with existing and potential customers for all communications with regard to services being provided by AZ145. The role is responsible for generating quotations in relation to MRO services, answering inquiries from customers, and liaising with internal departments to respond in relation to customer requests. They will also be responsible for generating quotations, ensuring market competitiveness through constant internal feedback while maximizing margin for the facility.

Essential Functions:

• Quotation generating using Quantum system.
• Investigating RMA claims from customers.
• Handling inquiries that come through from phone and emails with regard to customer question such as delivery dates, internal shop capabilities pricing.
• Adding and maintaining companies addresses and contact information in Quantum.
• Screening companies through visual compliance and handling the preliminary investigation.
• Assist the Commercial department for small projects.
• Other duties as assigned in relation to commercial function.
• Ensuring supplier information is correct and maintained within quantum.
• Ability to research fair market value of services or products.

Qualifications / Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in Customer Service or related field in aerospace or similar service industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word).
• Intermediate understanding of Quantum Control or similar ERP software.
• Basic understanding of different pricing formulation, e.g., fixed price, time, and material pricing mechanism.
• Can read and interpret aviation industry work orders.

Skills:

• Communicate clearly and effectively internally and externally written and verbal.
• Can work both independently and in a team environment to ensure work is done in a timely manner.
• Must have a sense of urgency on matters of elevated importance.
• Basic negotiation and people skills.
• Microsoft office suite, in particular Outlook.

Salary Expectations: $17.00/hr. - $19.00/hr.

Physical Demands:

Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and bending, including standing or sitting for long periods. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions:
Ability to work in machine shop/component repair environment.
Momentary exposure to high noises.
Exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents.
Personal Protection Equipment will be required for certain tasks.

Travel:
There is no travel required.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
